Oh to Be a Hot Girl on Social Media with The Branding Queen Des Dobreva
Being a hot girl on social media these days doesn’t come without its ups and downs. (Trust me, I know! *hair flip*) JK :P
On the bright side, a "hot girl" typically has a huge following and can use their social media as a platform to easily get attention, which then, when used correctly, can turn into sales.
On the down side however, while a hot girl may be receiving attention from followers who view them as eye candy or "online celebrities", it may not always translate into real growth and success in their business.
Believe me, I've seen hot girls do amazing 7-figure launches, and I've also seen some make huge flops. (Hey, same for men, too!)
The gap between popularity and creating something of value is far too wide for outwards beauty alone to bridge. This is why I sat down and chatted with Des Dobreva, our resident "hot girl" to talk about what it's like to build her business using social media.
Get ready for the ruckus as we....
Define what a "hot girl" is and how we also perceive them as business ownersDiscuss how she used her looks to her advantage to start her online business journey Tell stories about what it's like to come from a developing country, then do business in more developed countries, and people back home using your looks to invalidate what you doTalk about good and bad "hot girl experiences" on social mediaLearn about one of the best lessons about posting on social (note: this ONE THING specifically separates being a senseless word vomit vs. being elegantly vulnerable)
It's easy to either get triggered or get inspired by some hot girl on social media. At the end of the day, good business beats everything else, and in the internet age, feedback and results are easy to prove.
Either way-- if I was made to choose between being hot or not, I'd still choose to be hot. ;)

Karla's Greatest Hits: Top 15 Things I do to Improve my Mental Health
As great as entrepreneurship can be, it can also take a mental toll if you're not intentional about taking care of yourself. Burnt out brains don't do anyone any good and mental health problems like depression and anxiety can prevent you from achieving the very success you seek.
You should plan regular mental check-ins with yourself, schedule time out to do activities that bring you joy and make sure that your mental well-being comes first before all else!

Let's Talk About The Law of Attraction with Bestselling Author of "The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need to Read" Andrew Kap
The Law of Attraction is a popular belief that suggests that like energies attract like results. It's often described as "what you put out into the universe, you get back".
In general, people tend to think of the Law of Attraction as a simple means of getting what they want; they just have to put out positive energy and their desires will be fulfilled. Although this idea can be empowering in some ways, there can often be more to it than what we initially think.
So I sought out one of the world's best contemporary experts in The Law of Attraction to talk LOA with me- Andrew Kap!
His perennial best seller, “The Last Law of Attraction Book You’ll Ever Need To Read” offers readers a never-before-seen understanding of the topic — that no other “LOA” book has ever been able to do — by going the extra mile of finally addressing WHY people who get excited about trying it still can’t manage to get in the habit of using these methods for just five minutes a day.
With over 100,000 copies sold, the book has enjoyed continued success, including THOUSANDS of five-star reviews, #1 Best Seller status in multiple categories on Amazon, and a growing YouTube channel devoted to it.
Listen and soak in all the LOA goodness! See ya. -
What Makes a Great First Date with Yuri
Are you a good "first date"? I won't even wait for your answer because I know it's a YES in your head, haha. I'm just teasing ya.
Today's a good day to talk about it though! Nowadays, first dates can come from both traditional and online dating. Whether it's a swipe right or an intro from your Grandma, here's a cheeky convo to steer you in the right direction.
With me is Yury, a guy I respect a lot in business. Used to be a "serial dater" (like me), but now happily coupled up! We talk about how to be a great first date, memorable first dates we've had (good and bad!) and a few politically incorrect jokes in between.

Why We Love Living in Playa del Carmen
In July 2021, I moved to Playa del Carmen, Mexico because it was "somewhere new, and a timezone where I can run my business easily".
[Context: I serve mostly US/ Canada clients in my subscription-based outsourcing company - www.proximityoutsourcing.com.]
Plus, I was in a new relationship and I wanted a "fresh start".
That relationship quickly ended though, and I was stuck with a 90-day lease. I decided to ride it out because we prepaid for rent and I ended up writing the best love story ever: living in Playa del Carmen.
In this podcast episode, I hung out with fellow expat and entrepreneur Max Royale, and we talked about the things we love about living in Playa del Carmen.
Being away from US, the people, speaking a new language every day, the fresh, organic, hormone-free food, the bright turquoise waters, over 300 days of sun, the walking culture, and the right balance of entrepreneurial hustle and wellness biohacking.
Grab a cup of coffee, tea, and get comfy. Let us tell you about this home we love so much.
Customer Reviews
This podcast is no holds barred.
Karla’s None of Your Business Podcast reminds you that all entrepreneurs are human beings. Yes, entrepreneurs can tell you the ins and out of their business. Their business ethics and personal habits are so good, other people think they are from another planet.
However, entrepreneurs are also humans - they have interests, hobbies, and can talk-until-they-drop about their passions. That’s what Karla aims to discover in every episode - make every business owner be relatable. Because, heck they are!
This podcast is noholds barred, just like Karla - brave to take on new territories, generous in time and expertise, and funny.
Finally! A podcast worth tuning in to!
Topics are fun and stories are great. Can't wait to hear new episodes every Monday 😍
