“Restoring the Lord’s Day,” An Interview with Daniel Fitzpatrick Fiat Career Coaching Podcast

What does a typical Sunday look like for you? Does it revolve around time in worship with anticipation of a lively breakfast after church? Does the idea of Sunday conjure up thoughts of a cozy nap or of laundry day in preparation for the week?

Whatever your Sunday currently looks like, I encourage you to consider that God might be inviting you, and me, to something more.

Many of us consider Sunday as a “day of rest”, and rightly so, as during creation God rested on the seventh day and commanded us to do the same.

Rest is for our good. However, it is so much more than just a day to put our feet up or to hurriedly prepare for Monday.

In his new book, “Restoring the Lord’s Day,” New Orleans native, Daniel Fitzpatrick, takes readers on a journey to understand why our Sunday observances have vastly changed from ancient times to now, some of the root causes, and how we can restore Sunday to its’ proper place.

I enjoyed speaking with Daniel about his book and gaining tips I can incorporate into my family life to live Sunday even better!
