Sarah Jane Young \ Everyone has a story Lemonade
-
- Society & Culture
Sarah Jane Young was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second daughter Charlotte Rose.
Slowly, but surely, everything was going to plan after a tumultuous childhood tainted by domestic violence. A fairytale wedding, her dream of two little girls and a successful beauty blogging career.
But everything changed the day SJ went for a routine 20 week scan and discovered her baby had a severe heart defect and would not survive outside of the womb.
SJ says what happened next broke her into a million pieces. She opens up about the pain of being among the one in six Australian women who experience pregnancy or infant loss, the extreme grief that followed, how she found strength in helping other women, and her rainbow baby who helped heal her heart.
A trigger warning for anyone who may have miscarried or lost a child.
