This episode’s guest on The Metaphysical Mysteries Podcast is the show's first interview with a scientist - NASA Rocket Scientist Shehnaz Soni. Shehnaz Soni is also a spiritual alchemist and author in addition to working for NASA as a rocket scientist. In this episode, Tom and Terry will be discussing quantum mechanics with Shehnaz as well as how science and the “mystical” field intersect.



 







 

From Science To Spirituality

 



Growing up in Pakistan, Shehnaz Soni did not anticipate attending school due to the cultural barriers. However, due to her curiosity and rebellious nature, she ended up as the valedictorian. She had an arranged marriage that led to her living in the US. Additionally, Shehnaz got her electrical engineering degree which then led to her working with the International Space Station and working with the DOD then NASA. She has also worked on the Falcon with Elon Musk.



 



Since a young age, Shehnaz Soni has always been close to spirituality, especially her desire to “want more” and saying “no” unless she says so. This is what led her to explore the mystery schools. For Shenaz, mystery schools are places where we get to learn our human potential. They have ancient origins and it is part of who we truly are.



 



While she has been on a quest to understand life force energy, Shehnaz Soni has received certifications as an Energy Healer and a Transformational Coach. Shehnaz offers spiritual, physical, and emotional transformations through quantum healing and more traditional life and health coaching.

Dana was born and raised in NY, lived in South Florida, and moved to Los Angeles for acting/commercials. She practiced theatre as a kid and teenager at Rockland Center for the Arts, and studied Psychology and Philosophy in college. She loves acting in horror, sci-fi & action films, as well as a passion for comedy and improve and has a passion for not just acting but for life and understanding different types of people's psyches. “Reflect” Movie by Dana Kippel

 



Dana came up with the concept for Reflect when she was filming a movie in Arizona and doing a lot of night shoots and due to the lack of sun, she had become depressed. She decided to visit Sedona after filming as there is a vortex there and that is beautiful energy. For Dana, just being there and feeling the energy and feeling lonely at the same time inspired her to write a movie about 5 girls that go to the desert (inspired by Sedona) and have a spiritual experience. As soon as she got home, she started writing. Reflect was shot and filmed 3 months after Dana had wrote it.



 



“Reflect” is about 5 girls from different backgrounds and they take a road trip to Sedona, and they are invited on a spiritual obstacle course. When the girls arrive, a lot of strange things start to happen to them while they are in the Sedona Vortex. The source of the strange things are from the girls doing shadow work. As a result, it leads to terrifying things to come up. The overarching message from “Reflect” is that it is ok for these scary/messy/chaotic/darker things to come to the surface, as that is part of the process and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.



 



Dana’s goal for the viewer is to have you ask more questions about you background, beliefs and thought process, as well as recognizing that you can change your life at any given time and that they can change their beliefs. However, the most important aspect of that is healing yourself.

A spiritual awakening shifted Dani’s life when she had hers. Dani had her awakening with another medium who had shown her the “ropes” of the journey and worked through it with her. Since then, Dani has gone into many different directions. A “Family Affair”

 



Kathleen was only 13 years old when her aunt and uncle had their close encounter and abduction in New Hampshire. As they were heading south on Route 3 in upstate New Hampshire, Betty saw a light in the sky that had come in VERY close. Both Betty and Barney had been watching it for about a half hour at that point and they had even went out to look at it a couple of times. They could see that it was rotating and even lit up on one side. It was sitting up in the sky silently.



 



At some point, the craft surges ahead and stops over the highway. Barney then got out of the car and he was looking at the craft with binoculars. He was trying to identify the spacecraft and even observed figures looking back at him from the spacecraft. After getting spooked, Barney ran back to the car and sped away with Betty. A series of strange lapses occurred after, and Barney and Betty had even found themselves on a dirt road with no recollection of how they got there.
