Introduction and Mark Chapters 1 and 2
In the first episode of Unpacking the Bible: The Gospel of Mark we examine the setting and authorship of Mark, the second book of the New Testament. We also discuss relevant issues including the Synoptic Problem. We then examine Chapters 1 and 2 of the Gospel, focusing on Mark's use of hypertext in these chapters.

We continue to discuss Mark's use of hypertext as we move into discussion of Jesus's ministry, including several of His most well-known miracles.
