A Voyage to the Edge - Sarvajeet D Chandra 



The cosy comforts we cling to

In every aspect, constrict our view

Venture out, be uncomfortable, alone

Life blossoms at the edge of comfort zone

The frontier calls, there are new things to see

Possibilities are endless, you may truly be free



How far you could’ve gone, what you might’ve been

It’s never too late to live a life of your dreams

Leave the harbour, let shores fade fade from view

Start afresh, a new challenge waits for you

Shed mediocrity, be an explorer and roam

Audacious adventures await, for you to own



Go far ahead, beyond the point of return,

Ditch monotony for stuff you’ve never done

Lose the familiar, embrace the unseen

Unleash the self you've forever been

Someday your future will intertwine with your past

Who knows, you may do your best work perhaps





On this journey you’ll find out who you are

Your core, of what you are made of

Of what soil, spirit, roots, blood

A taste will return to your tongue

A flavour will come back in your life

A colour will fill your barren eyes
