It seems so incredible that many people dismiss the narrative of Jonah as fiction.
By doing this, they miss out on a narrative that speaks not only of God's sovereign power over nature, nations and individuals, but also of God's relentless grace to pursue his wayward people, save pagan sailors, and show mercy to a ruthless nation.
In this sermon we discover the abounding grace of God to his sinful prophet, although that grace comes wrapped in a storm and a rebuke.
