Transformation does not happen by simply deciding to do or not do something, because our past life without Jesus is firmly planted in our mind. We are transformed by allowing God to change the way we think. The Life Transformation Discipleship Plan is designed for just that: changing the way you think - transformation.

We are called to live in peace as members of the body of Christ. I will practice living in the peace of Christ by investing the first moments of every day in prayer and meditating on the promises He has given me in His word.

Peace - Day 3: Mind and Heart
The peace of God gives me comfort in a place of conflict. Reading Romans 8:5-8, we need to focus on the Holy Spirit to please God. In doing so, we will be given peace, so don't let our sinful nature control our thoughts and actions.

Peace - Day 2: Jesus Has Overcome the World
Today in John 16:33, Jesus says that we will have many trials and sorrows but we can have peace in Him because He has overcome the world. Just like we saw in yesterday's reading, go to Jesus to experience His peace.

Peace - Day 1: Accept the Peace of God
Today I am experiencing peace of mind and heart. Jesus promised to give me true peace and I receive it this very moment. Read Matthew 11:28-30, which says to go to Jesus if you are "weary and carry heavy burdens" because he will give you rest. Go to Jesus if you need peace and he will help you!

My heart is set on a journey with Jesus today and on this journey, I have strength through the joy He gives. Throughout the week, what have you learned about Joy that you will apply to your life? Discuss it with your discipleship group!

His joy in me is unchanging, everlasting, and will sustain me for the rest of my life. As you're reading this, think of the areas of your life that you can change by living in this joy.
