Do we go to google? Yes, Google is a valid parenting tool. Do we go to other parents? Our parents? The Churchome Parenting Podcast was created to pool together the knowledge and advice of moms and dads who have or are currently trying their best to raise kids in this often crazy world. It does not matter if you have a newborn, a toddler, teenagers, twins, or that twenty-year-old college student who lives in the basement. Married or single, we could all use a little help when it comes to this parenting journey. Sit down with Damon and Kristine Strom, the Churchkids Pastors at Churchome, as they talk with amazing parents about the ins and outs, the ups and downs of what it looks like to be a mother or father. When Getting Pregnant Is Not Working
Damon and Kristine sit down with Rose and Jon and hear their journey of trying to get pregnant for almost ten years. The parents talk about the insecurities that settle in when you are trying to get pregnant but are unable to. Jon shares the importance of continually talking to Rose and not getting quiet. The parents get started right away, talking about parents robbing their children of their adulthood by snowplow parenting. Molly talks about how letting your child fail is crucial for their development. Damon shares a story about how he recently picked up the shovel and snowplowed a problem away. We figure out this episode was just a free therapy session for Damon and Kristine.
