Episode 164 - Must Listen

Just what I needed! So good, and so encouraging for people waking this walk. I loved hearing from his perspective, and I will share this with my husband. Coming from someone who has endured 4 pregnancy losses with no living children who are also ‘older’ it is so uplifting to hear from someone who has been in our shoes and never gave up. Thank you for this!!

Good guests, terrible interviewer

I started listening to this podcast a few years ago as I was starting my fertility journey and there weren’t a lot of podcasts out there for infertility. She has good guests, but she is a TERRIBLE interviewer. It’s like she is in a different room, meaning 1) I originally thought she would add questions in later after letting the guest just go on and on. 2) she never asks follow up questions. And moves on to the next topic and has no great flow to these talks. So someone could talk about how they miscarried and she won’t respond to their story or ask a natural follow up. She will ask the next question on her list which could be something like “how did you balance work and infertility treatments?”’ It’s so disconnected! I sit there like this person just bared their soul about how hard this journey was and you ask that???? It’s like she neurotically has to get through a script of questions regardless of how appropriate or out of flow they are. She is a bit robotic which is a huge turnoff.

Eggless

I just started listening to this podcast. It is hard to discuss fertility among many. Listening to this podcast makes me feel so much better. To hear women who share the same story and be able to follow the language of IVF. Going through IVF can be very isolating. Thank you for giving all these women a platform to share their stories with all of us on this journey.
