Thomas is head of asset requirements and commissioning at Copenhagen airport.
Before joining Copenhagen Airports Thomas worked at the consulting engineering firm Grontmij/Sweco where he led different Commissioning processes for key clients such as Novo Nordisk, ATP Ejendomme, A.P. Møller-Mærsk, Nordea, and Metro Cityringen.
Thomas is a certified Qualified Commissioning Process Provider and honored with TEKNIQ’s Energiteknologpris. Thomas is also is the founder of the Danish Commissioning Wikipedia (https://cxwiki.dk), the free online Commissioning software Cx Manager (https://cxmanager.dk / https://cxmanager.live) and co-writer on the Danish Commissioning Standard (DS3090).

Amélie is a principal at EcoSynergy and a sustainability and building performance specialist. Amélie has worked in different areas of the construction industry, always promoting energy efficiency across Canada (Montréal, QC to Edmonton, AB). She began with NRCan’s Energuide for Homes program (today Ecoenergy), which promotes energy efficient renovations, going on to new construction, on-site training and consulting in high efficiency housing i.e. Energuide 86 and/or Net-Zero Energy Goal.
Amelie has a master’s degree in building science and sustainable design and is a registered energy advisor and LEED for homes green rater.

Eliot has a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design and a master’s degree in Design, Technology and Project Management.
Eliot joined LBNL’s Building Technology and Urban Systems Division (BTUS) November 2016, to support their industry-leading work in the fields of EMIS, M&V, commissioning, and other related areas. He is the co- author of Energy and Buildings, a paper discusses Building commissioning costs and savings across three decades and 1500 North American buildings.
Eliot was previously Executive Director of the California Commissioning Collaborative and technical program manager for PECI.

Bio
Dan has been involved in energy efficiency in buildings since 1977 starting with graduate work in computer simulation building thermal performance. Dan has worked as a building science researcher, building energy consultant, design mechanical engineer for buildings, and sustainability consultant.
Dan is a graduate of Princeton University and Cornell University and is both a Registered Architect and Professional Engineer, an ASHRAE Life Fellow, a Fellow of the AIA, a LEED Fellow. He has held senior VP positions with the likes of Syska and Hennessy and WSP Flack + Kurtz
Some of the notable projects Dan’s resume include the BASF U.S. Headquarters, the Newseum in Washington, DC, the Hearst Corporate Headquarters, the U.S. Embassies in Sofia, Bulgaria and Cape Town, South Africa, the Clinton Presidential Library, the New York Times Headquarters and the Alcoa Corporate Headquarters.

Bio
Dr. Peter Simmonds has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and another in Research and Development from Reading Technical College and a Master’s degree from HTS, Den Bosch, The Netherlands and a Ph.D. from T.U. Delft. He has been a member of ASHRAE since 1989.
Dr. Simmonds received the Carter Bronze Medal from the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers in 1993. Dr. Simmonds authored or co-authored more than 60 technical papers, articles and books He is a member of several ASHRAE Technical Committees and serves on the Standards committee as well as the College of Fellows. Dr. Simmonds teaches Graduate and Post Graduate Architectural students at the University of Southern California and is an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer.
Dr. Simmonds is a recognized authority in the field of Radiant heating and cooling systems, as well as Thermal Comfort. Publications of his work led to the development of radiant systems in the USA and are included in the ASHRAE Handbooks. He has been involved in the design and development of Passive and Active Beams since 1983 and has designed many systems worldwide. Peter is one of the co-authors of the ASHRAE/REHVA Passive and Active Beam Design Guide. He has been involved in the design and operation of tall, super tall, and mega tall buildings around the world for more than 30 years and has authored the second edition of the ASHRAE Design Guide for Tall, Mega Tall and Super Tall Building Systems.
