Ep 8 - Culture. We all talk about it, but what is it really?

Ep 8 - Culture. We all talk about it, but what is it really?

The definition of a culture is the patterns of behaviour in a group of people. But is it that simple? In this episode we dive into what this means in a school context and discuss how its both visible and invisible, seen and unseen. When culture is great or poor, people know it when they feel it but can’t always describe it. But how do we as school leaders guide, shape and influence culture? Ultimately its about every decision that gets made in an organisation and the standards we accept in the 1%’ers every day. Can you have a great culture without a great leader? Let us know about how cultures have been shaped in your context.
