The faces of the Gucci Beauty Network campaign discuss breaking the rules of beauty norms.

“For the bold the bright and the beautiful” - a slogan used for #GucciBeautyNetwork, Alessandro Michele’s first Gucci Makeup lipstick collection. Shot by Martin Parr, the campaign captures the feminine ideals that surround and encapsulate lipstick and flip them, highlighting that authentic beauty lies in imperfection.

In this episode, fashion blogger and writer, Susie Lau, interviews the four stars of the campaign. First she meets with three of the models Achok Majak, Mae Lapres and Ellia Sophia in Rome. Together they discuss the challenges of being a model, their own beauty ideals and how they are evolving. Then Susie is joined by the fourth star of the campaign, punk singer Dani Miller, on the even of Gucci’s Spring Summer 2020 show in Milan. Dani reflects on the reaction to the campaign and how using the lipsticks in different ways makes her feel empowered.
