You’ll laugh! You’ll cry! You just can’t squeam!!!

Honestly one of the most intriguing and fascinating podcasts I’ve found. Sometimes the topic elicits a “meh” from me but undoubtedly I wind up listening intently. Keep up the great work!

I never miss an episode

Funny, entertaining, informative and, best of all, well researched. Anyone who likes their history without the punches pulled and with an irreverant dose of humor will love this!

Delightfully squeamish

Naturally squeamish and I've always hated history, but I love this podcast. I learn new stuff and the horrible and serious aspects from history are made easier to swallow with the cohosts' use of humor (which breaks up tension but doesn't make fun of disenfranchised populations). I love that they go out of their way to present context to their content with more perspectives than what may be focused on in US history classes; they have balance and leave it up to the listener to make their own conclusions.
