Enjoy This Perspective

I really enjoy 1a and one of my favorite is hearing from fellow listeners provide they personal experiences and perspectives. In my view, the format of the show is where is truly shines. Hosts like Jenn White are superb with their questions and panelists are well selected and provide helpful insight. Has a bit of a liberal leaning perspective but the producers do make a effort for an opposing viewpoint although I’m sure that’s up to your political persuasion.

Topics general focus on social and other current events although they do also focus on other interesting topics as well. I’m enjoying it and keep the discussion coming.

Nice show

As a W/M 52 years of age, I am a New Democrat and I have a voting history of voting for both parties. I am 7-0 in US Presidential elections. I am a former US Marine and retired from a government job.

So what saved me from voting for the wrong party? I have a Masters Degree in Public Administration and I like to follow the US Budget for fun.

Some advise on how to get more white Americans in the Democratic Party.

#1. Don’t make the white guy feel like an outsider.
#2. Welcome all Americans to the Republican Party. ***General Powell once said that “The Republican Tent is open to all”. He then went on to say that the open to all who want to be in.
#3. Stop saying that white males over a certain age will stay the same or continue to be racist. Welcome back everyone.
#4. You already have me back but you have to welcome us all back.

In closing, it is very clear that the Republican Party has been taken over by the extreme right. In my opinion, you will always collect more bees with honey than without.
Thanks,
R. Scott G. #MI #USA
