"Rats" and "Seven Year Anniversary:" With Tawny and Sam

"Merchandise can be replaced. Black lives cannot." This is the episode Sam and I recently recorded this past week, before the protesting began. And tomorrow, we’re recording an episode where we’ll chat about the significance and history behind the protests happening right now in America. I stopped producing my history podcast, The Dirty Bits, when my husband and co-host (George) passed away. It was too painful. But I now feel drawn to share again. George and my mission on our podcast was to give understanding and insight and to bring people together. That mission is something that has not changed and it’s what Sam and I continue to strive for on Death Is Hilarious. Sam and I share stories. We aren’t medical professionals or legal professionals. We don’t have hundreds of thousands of subscribers but we do have an amazing bunch of listeners we’ve grown close with (“The Trauma Queens”). What Sam and I can do is share stories in an effort to give our community more empathy. We’ll be posting more updates soon on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. DM us on any social media platform or email deathishilarious@gmail.com to get in touch.

"The Doctors Were Wrong:" With Sam and Cleo from "Topless Topics"

"The Doctors Were Wrong:" With Sam and Cleo from "Topless Topics"

In this episode, Sam sits down with Cleo from Topless Topics, a community and creative project aimed at de-stigmatizing and de-sexualizing female toplessness in public and on social media, the same way male toplessness was in the 1950s - through repeat exposure and peaceful acts of civil disobedience. Though you can’t see her, true to form, Cleo is topless for this interview, which was held over a video conferencing service. In this episode, Sam and Cleo chat about socializing during coronavirus, bonding over online content creation, Cleo's mom, her dear friend Angel, bisexuality and how to cope with corona.
You can find Cleo by by searching Topless Topics on Youtube and go ahead and give her a thumbs up and a follow to help more people find her, and then you can find her uncensored videos on ToplessTopics.org. Was once for me

I really appreciated the original show before the unfortunate loss of her husband. But the show moved in a direction that just isn’t for me now. I originally started listening for the history stories you normally don’t hear about.

Thank you!

Been dealing with more death in the past few years. Kind of goes along with getting older. Yours is such a fresh take on a horrible subject, it makes it almost bearable. Thank you.

Mick Depp ,

New podcast is terrible.

Sorry for her loss but this new format is boring. Might help some people but I’m unsubscribing. Humor is the best medicine but she isn’t funny.
