After a summer hiatus we are back here at SoundcheckPGH! Bringing you a conversation with Hearken, an indie rock duo whose songs are equal parts grunge and punk, held together with melodies that immediately get stuck in your head. 
The two piece band is made up of Donny and Gregg, who were kind enough to sit down with us for an engaging conversation. This week, the artist behind Just Fern, Princex, and more, Mags Romero sat down with us to talk music, Pittsburgh, and society. Three of our favorite topics.
