Men who want to design the future of fatherhood, and blend modern technologies with ancient wisdom to maximize impact

Those who believe “When you’re kicking ass, show up for others, because one day, when life is kicking your ass, others will show up for you.” (Thanks to Front Row Dad Aaron A for this thought)

Never Lose an Employee Again, 360 Reviews and Using the “Stop, Start, Continue” Exercise at Home with Joey Coleman

Today, I’m catching up with Joey Coleman. We’re talking about his latest Wall Street Journal bestseller, Never Lose an Employee Again, and the techniques he uses to reduce turnover and increase employee engagement for huge companies like Whirlpool, NASA, Volkswagen, and Zappos. The best part? They can be used at home!
Joey also breaks down what a 360 Review is and how much is learned from them compared to a traditional quarterly or annual review in the workplace. We’ll also get into how he’s been using the stop, start, continue exercise at home with his kids and how that’s led to a deeper connection while they grow and evolve together as a family. Enjoy!

Courageous Conversations

I’ve been listening for a long time and haven’t left a review. However, after just finishing the Hal Elrod and Mikki Willis interview I felt moved to commend this podcast with a 5 star review. During this interview the listener truly went on a journey of discovery about Mikki and his own insights and growth gave way to my own introspection - especially about parenting. I appreciate both the honesty and the transparency in this courageous conversation and I hope he will be back again! Thanks to Hal Elrod for his inquisitive and always friendly interview style. I appreciated the sharing of his own moments in parenting and the genuine curiosity that took place in this interview.

Incredible value and interesting conversations

When I first found this podcast years ago, I was immediately drawn to it because Jon felt so genuine, and the show didn’t have a hokey intro like many of the other ‘dad’casts. There are so many good nuggets of wisdom tucked in these episodes that focus on the whole of being a dad. If you only listen to one episode, make it the one with Jim Schiels on the Family Board Meeting. Then you’ll want to listen to the rest. Jon’s curiosity and drive towards putting his family first makes this one I keep coming back to!

Bgraha23 ,

I don’t miss an episode

This is the one podcast that I listen to every new episode without fail. It is also the podcast that I share the most episodes from.
