Vicky Pattison
Parenting your parent isn’t something any child thinks they’ll need to do, but TV personality, podcaster, and author Vicky Pattison found herself looking after her alcoholic dad. This in turn made her reassess her own relationship with alcohol.
In this chat, live from the Happy Place Festival, Fearne and Vicky talk about everything from social anxiety, to PMDD, to cultivating a positive body image. They also explore the idea that we often think we have to wait until we’re a ‘better version’ of ourself before we can do something we’ve always wanted to do. Vicky reckons we should just take a chance – take the risk – right now.

Customer Reviews
Hands down my favorite podcast
Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of amazing podcasts out there - but this one is my favorite. Everything from the song intro, to Fearne’s thoughtful questions and how she creates this authentic dialogue with her guests is top notch - you can tell that Fearne really is quite good at her job. I appreciate how her and her guests are so candid, raw and honest with their experiences and normalize the ups and downs of life. Happy Place is creating space to allow us all to explore our own paths, open up to vulnerability and love whilst acknowledging that grace is absolutely required during the tough and turbulent times. I look forward to waking up every Monday (US - West Coast) and knowing that I have a new episode yo start my week off. Thank you Fearne and team, this podcast is part of my self care - it keeps me feeling my feelings and remembering to be gentle with others feelings too.
Long time listener of this wonderful podcast!
I look forward to Happy Place every week and can honestly say I have listened to most of the episodes over the years. I loved the recent episode with Spencer Matthews in which he talked about his film, Finding Michael. Thank you Fearne for the gentle and wholesome work you do.
