Life's filled with a ton of curveballs and hurdles. But, do you make sense of them?

Since Jenina experienced a stroke in her sleep, she’s made it her mission to embrace a half-glass perspective. If she was going to recover and make sense of a life event that threw her for a loop, she was going to learn and grow from it.

Enter the blog and podcast, “This Life, Reconsidered”. In each episode, Jenina focuses on self-care, managing your personal health and the value of reframing issues to ultimately learn from the stuff you just can't control.

With so much to consider, Jenina likes to think this experience gave way to her personal ‘stroke of wisdom’ – you’re meant to learn from the stuff you go through if you’re open to it.

Jenina doesn’t claim to be an expert, just learning to look the glass half full while making sure to put self-care first.

Inspiring and insightive

I especially liked that Jenina was able to move from denial to claiming the present. Changing one’s mindset is a challenge.
