Every episode feels like a new cinematic experience! The first time I heard an episode I thought I was in a middle of cutscene from dead space. Great work!
Horses, gunfights, saloons: S1 is a western.
Very very mellow single voice narration, pacing and music. There are some extra bits with other voices and acting. S1 is a western adventure that seems like it’ll be a preamble to the space adventure this show says it is on the tin. S2 is in space and already has more voices, too.
Gave it a second chance and listened again. Was a better experience this time ‘round, but still - just “not bad.”
This has decent sound design and ok voice acting, but the story and characters lack originality. The creator seems nice and I don’t write any of this to be mean. If you’re looking for a quick, easy, familiar listening experience, this does the trick, but I hope the creator takes more narrative-related chances in season two.
