EarBuds Podcast Collective is a listening movement. We send a weekly podcast recommendation email that contains a theme and 5 podcast episodes on that theme. The best part is that each week is curated by a different person -- and anyone can curate!
This podcast will highlight each week's podcast picks, information about the curator, and more. We'll also share podcast tips, industry news, and bonus recommendations from time to time.
EarBuds Podcast Collective was created in February 2017. The founder is Arielle Nissenblatt. The editor of the newsletter is Abby Klionsky.
We have created a vast online community, accessible through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
This podcast is meant to make EarBuds more accessible and to turn more people on to amazing podcasts and the people that are listening to them.

This week's theme is Mental Health & Mindfulness Podcasts for Kids and it's curated by Jodi Murphy.
Why did she choose this theme?:
"We kids’ podcast creators care deeply about our young audiences and their mental health. We know that, like adults, kids can experience overwhelming feelings from what’s happening in their personal lives and from trying to process the chaos of our world. This podcast playlist includes storytelling, news, and mindfulness podcast episodes with narratives and guidance to help kids recognize, understand, and learn how to self-regulate their big feelings."

Female-Focused Health and Well-Being Podcast Recommendations
Welcome to Feedback with EarBuds, the podcast recommendation podcast.
Subscribe to the newsletter here: http://eepurl.com/cIcBuH
This week's theme is Female-Focused Health and Well-Being and the curator is Becky Lamb-Pritchard.
Why did she choose this theme?:
"Fewer than one-third of the most successful podcasts worldwide are hosted by women, and we have stuff we want to talk about!
A lot of what we learn about health and well-being is primarily through a male lens (shocking, right!?) This has resulted in a lack of education about female health, and in some cases, incorrect diagnoses. Did you know that many females are incorrectly diagnosed with depression, when in fact what's happening is that they're going through menopause? Or that there are many cases of misdiagnoses of ADHD, as symptoms in females manifest differently than the better-known symptoms often displayed in males? Or that, thanks to female hormones, alcohol does, in fact, impact females and males differently. I certainly didn't until I discovered podcasts that gave me the information and tools to navigate life as a female, with all the beautiful and painful parts that come with it."

Great Writing for the Ear: Podcast Recommendations
Welcome to Feedback with EarBuds, the podcast recommendation podcast.
Subscribe to the newsletter here: http://eepurl.com/cIcBuH
This week's theme is Great Writing for the Ear. The curators are Andrew Beck Grace, Chip Brantley, and Connor Towne O'Neill, writers and producers of NPR's White Lies.
Why did they choose this theme?:
"Collaborating on a longform nonfiction show like White Lies requires us to work through many, many drafts of each episode. And that iterative, workshop-y process can sometimes disrupt the rhythm and squeeze the intimacy out of a piece of writing. When that happens, we revisit some of our favorite moments from shows and love to remind ourselves what great writing for the ear sounds like."

Welcome to Feedback with EarBuds, the podcast recommendation podcast.
Subscribe to the newsletter here: http://eepurl.com/cIcBuH
This week's theme is Black History Transcends Time. Our curator is Adell Coleman, COO of DCP Entertainment.
Why did she choose this theme?: "Black history is not just of the past; it transcends time, as history is still being made today. You have to know where you've been to know where you're going. This selection of podcasts presents historical moments that are still relevant and impacting the world today, from civil rights leaders, athletes, and HIV/ AIDs, to schooling and education."

Like soooo many stars
Arielle will you marry me I’ll leave Justin for you.
Great way to find new podcasts
Arielle does a great job of finding different people to come on and offer up podcast recommendations. There’s a wide variety of topics discussed and your sure to find something that will appeal to you.
Amazing place to find new podcasts
Arielle is just bloody amazing in terms of what she does for the podcast community and indies in particular. This is showcased through this show where you get 5 new recommendations for other podcasts based around a different theme each week. The curators are other podcasters working in the same genres and I’ve come away with a few shows I pretty much have permanently in my rotation now. If you’re looking for a place to get other good podcasts, this is the one for you
