Talking to candidates is getting harder
It’s an odd time for reporters who cover elections. It’s a lot harder than it used to be to talk to some candidates. The emergence of social media has certainly played a role. But there is something else at play: A reluctance by some candidates, mainly Republicans, to agree to interviews or even participate in debates.

A much needed podcast for those hoping to keep on the latest politics in North Carolina. Thank you for doing this podcast ahead of the 2022 midterms and I hope it continues!
These three reporters do a great job of presenting ideas/issues and giving their opinions alongside their analysis of how those across the political spectrum are reacting. The interviews are solid as well.

Good, concise, gets to the point
I don’t think that objective news reporting is possible, but this podcast does a good job of presenting facts and mostly letting them speak for themselves.
