Nostalgia is a funny thing. Six friends discussing it is even funnier.

Join us as we reflect on some of the best and worst movies from last century and rewatch them On Second Watch. Did they get better with age? Worse? Only one way to find out...

Join Tim, Chris, Dana, Kari, Nikki, and Dan as we plunge head first into the movies we grew up on and discuss our nostalgia for them. Then, we'll watch the movie together, jump back on the mics, and record our observations. We'll provide both our Nostalgia Score and Rewatch Score to see if the movie aged well, or if it should stay in last century.

We have fun with our show by playing a game of Plot Summary Mad Libs, where we take the plot of the movie make it awkward and mostly dirty with new nouns, adjectives, and verbs. We also have many bonus episodes, such as special interviews with those in the entertainment industry, and our popular "How Would Sean Bean Have Died?" where we cast and kill our favorite Yorkshireman in the movies he was not cast.

    When the Screaming Starts (2021)

    When the Screaming Starts (2021)

Now available across North America and the UK, take a stab at 2021's British black comedy horror mockumentary, When the Screaming Starts.

Inspired by the modern day obsession with serial killers and true-crime documentaries, WHEN THE SCREAMING STARTS turns this popular sub-genre on its head, whilst questioning the contemporary fascination with serial slaughter. This fresh, new mockumentary examines the dark subject matter through a comedic lens, resulting in a pitch-black horror-comedy that will have you "laughing and wincing in equal measure"

Directed by Conor Boru, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ed Hartland, who are both producers of this film alongside Jared Rogers and Dom Lenoir, Cinematographer Adrian Musto, Editor Alan Rae, Sound by Paul Caton, and Composer Michael Palmer. Starring Ed Hartland, Jared Rogers, Kaitlin Reynell, Octavia Gilmore, Yasen Atour, Kavé Niku, Ronja Haugholt, Vår Haugholt. Now back to the On Second Watch crew

Special thanks to Jared and the whole WTSS crew for letting us preview this film! Go check it out today [https://linktr.ee/WTSS]

    Hook (1991)

    Hook (1991)

It's time to get Bangerang and rewatch 1991's American adventure film, Hook

Based on the novel Peter and Wendy by J. M. Barrie. Screenplay by Jim V Hart, and Directed by the great Steven Spielberg. Starring a powerhouse cast of the great Robin Williams as Peter Pan, Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook, Julia Roberts as Tinker Bell, Super Mario himself Bob Hoskins, Maggie Smith as Granny Wendy, and like 100 cameos

With a budget of $70mil, it made $300mil in the box office. Currently an 6.8 on IMDb

This movie was not chosen by a spin the wheel, rather by a special request from a huge movie buff and fan of the show, Nicole Marie Loftus. She reached out to me in October of last year with a huge list of movies she'd love for us to review, but the one that really hit me right in the nostalgia was Hook. So after almost a year, Nicole, this one is for you

Very fun!

A very fun group of hosts, and you have to tune in for their segment “How Would Sean Bean Have Died?” If nothing else!!

Potato Lady Bex ,

A Lot of Fun

These six friends—Tim, Chris, Dana, Kari, Nikki, and Spaz—are ready to take a second look at some nostalgic movie favorites. They have a lot of fun with it. The way they structure the show is they discuss and rate the movie based on their memories and the nostalgic value. Then they watch the movie and reconvene to re-rate and share their impressions on how the movie holds up.

Mike269266 ,

A good round table...

You’d think six hosts would get overwhelming but it doesn’t! More like a fantastic round table discussion of the most important topic… movies!
