I am a nature writer and novelist, and I’m lucky enough to be able to walk out of my cottage straight into Suffolk’s beautiful open countryside. As spring breaks over the British Isles, and summer settles in, I’ll be documenting the wonder and richness of the natural world and bringing it into as many homes as I can.

Take a deep breath, relax and listen

Terrifically produced podcast. Nice blend of stories, poetry, science and just listening to nature. This podcast has come to me at the perfect time and has helped slow my thoughts and notice the sounds in nature around me. Highly recommend.

This is the best podcast

I love listening to these. I look forward to learning about nature and hearing good poetry. It combines so many things in such a short time.

The Stubborn Light of Things.

This podcast transported me across the North American continent and across the Atlantic Ocean to the English countryside in one episode. It is so well presented I felt as if I was standing in the field myself. History, animals, plants, bugs, humans all addressed and intertwined. Wonderful audio presentation, thoughtful music, narration and observations. MORE please❤️
