In this episode I carve right through the Player's Handbook's list of available feats and offer unconventional ways to include those feats into other parts of your story's narrative. I also take advantage of the word play opportunity to joke about feet, and make a Jackie Chan reference, but those are less important.

9 - The Environment and You

A short episode covering the value of object interactiveness in your world and the differences in a sandbox and a railroad. There's also a little blumper bloop left in around minute 9. How rare!

5 - The Tongue, the Mind and the Heart

Magic and spellcasting: they play a huge role in any fantasy setting, but, while there are pages and pages of how magic works mechanically in D&D, there's not much information on the narrative aspect. Add depth to your campaign by exploring how magic differentiates between classes, spell schools, types of spell focuses and more. Listen to the ramblings of a mad podcast host and hear all about magic in D&D right here!

Really interesting and thought provoking topics. I suggested that my DM listen and it’s led to some fantastic game play! On top of the content, the host is just really great to listen to. Can’t wait for the next episode!

SO GOOD!

The narrator’s voice is so animated and the content great— it makes for an easy listen. He does well with making it engaging for all levels, whether you’ve done D&D for years or if you’re just starting off. Highly recommend!

Informational and Interesting!

As a beginner player of D&D, it was amazing hearing about the inner workings on dice rolls-something I thought was a pretty basic mechanic of the game. I feel like I know a lot more now and can’t wait for more episodes to come out so I can learn even more about this game I’ve come to love!
