Often it is the path we create for ourselves that leads us unexpectedly to some of our biggest accomplishments. Before founding Mon4t, Dr. Ziv Yekutieli, spent many years connecting between neurology and technology, dabbling in music, ex-vivo neural networks, brain signals from epileptic patients, and a PC-based model of the brain. By listening to the challenges neurologists face on a daily basis, he realized that he could use his unique experience to help them, by enabling for tele-neurology. Though not always the easiest topic to bring up to investors, Ziv has successfully navigated his startup into a prime position, providing Mon4t's products to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device companies, now reaching out directly to the insurers. Through these channels, Mon4t's goal is to reach millions of patients who suffer from neurological conditions, and become "the google of neurological data".
