Lou and Leif finally took their long anticipated trip to Europe. They talk about the challenges traveling during COVID times, driving on the Autobahn, hiking in Bavaria and semi legal raves at train stations in Berlin. In general the topic revolves around how much fun it is being in Europe but also how to deal with friendships across the ocean.
The Silliness Continues
Lou and Leif talk about the Eurovision Song Contest or short ESC. They both enjoy the contest and were very happy to host a party to share this wonderful tradition with their American friends.
In the episode they talk about the contest in general and what they liked and disliked about this year's event. In between they try to praise but also trash talk the individual acts.
I Didn't Know This Is Turning into a Botanical Lesson
Leif and Lou talked about their travel in California and some bordering states. They go through their top 3 of places to visit.
Leif is willing to bend the rules when it comes to honorable mentions and Lou finds out she prefers places that are named after plants and plants that look like Pokemon.
Extra Compliant with the Law
Leif finally got his Green Card and the two took the chance to tell their immigration story. From getting married to applying for adjustments of status all the way to receiving that green little card in the mail.
During the podcast they go on a tangent about how it is to get a credit card as a new arrival and Lou does not get tired to point out how honest Leif is.
The Second Least Worst One
This episode is on the longer side, but it turned out to be a large topic to cover.
Lou and Leif are talking about the pandemic of 2020/21. They go chronologically but end up deviating and include the political climate in the US. They end on a high note and give hopeful outlook on the future.
