An Honest, Open and Vulnerable Conversation about Self-Doubt

An Honest, Open and Vulnerable Conversation about Self-Doubt

Has anyone ever told you that you seem to have it all together and that they never would have guessed you struggle with self-doubt from the way your carry yourself?

Well, that's exactly what my friend and former podcast guest Katrina Mcghee said to me in a recent phone call

And my immediate thought was "actually, I struggle with CRIPPLING self-doubt!"

Our discussion was so honest and open and raw that I knew we needed to share it so that you know you're not alone

That self-doubt comes for all of us, even if the version of ourselves we present to the external world seems supremely confident at all times

This podcast episode was excerpted from a recent Instagram Live between Katrina and I

    In this episode we discuss:
how self-doubt affects our energy and puts us in a hole we need to climb out ofthe interplay between not feeling like you belonged as a child and how self-doubt manifests in our adult lives how we manage self-doubt now when it ariseswho we would be if we totally trusted ourselves the possibility of what life would be like if we believed we were good enoughbringing more fun, curiosity, play and intention to every aspect of our lives

Just started!

I started listening today and I really enjoyed it. I’m drawn to people who can speak very well and I get that from this podcast. The content is actionable and relatable, too.

An Incredible Soul

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Dr. Kathy Zhang today in a scheduled session. She made me feel so at ease and spent her time asking all the right questions to better understand my needs and help direct me to meet my goals. She was so genuine, caring, and encouraging and helped me break down my BIG goal into smaller and smarter goals that would help me focus and get me to where I needed to be. It is so hard these days to find someone that listens well and makes a true effort to help you.. and the happiness I left our session with is incredible. Her podcasts are the same way! She truly cares and wants to make a difference in your life! I will be a forever listener now and cannot wait to see the person she helps me to be! She is real. She is amazing! Thank you for all that you do, Dr. Zhang!

Episode 58 “ If your don’t ask the answer is no”

I loved this episode SO MUCH ! I do have a question. I work in healthcare and I know we are given guidance on how to ask our patients questions and specifically told not to ask a question in a way that we are swaying the patient to answer in a specific way as to not influence their answer. What other scenarios come to mind for you that would be times not to apply this type of question ?

Thanks
