December 18, 2011, 23 year old Phoenix Coldon left her parent’s house in Missouri and was never seen again. Her SUV was found abandoned in the middle of the road and no one seemed to be suspicious. While this case does have some twists and turns, we all just want to know, what happened to Phoenix Coldon?

Alex VanDalsen left on foot late evening on February 3, 2021. He was later found dead, police haven’t been very helpful with answers and his mother and the rest of his family just want closure as to the mystery surrounding his death. We had the pleasure of interviewing Jennifer VanDalsen, and we invite you all to listen to her dive in so that you all can draw your own conclusions and help get more eyes on this case. We decided to sit down with our friends Chey Vyshnya and Sonya Coen to reflect on the highs and lows of 2022 and what we are leaving behind - as well as what we will bring with us into 2023. We then each tell a Florida man story.

This episode is unlike our episodes on both the NSNC and A Nefarious Nightmare feeds. With that being said, a brief content warning - there is strong language. 

 We really just wanted to sit back and hang out. There will be brief mention of a few grisly crimes but the main objective is for all of us to reflect and start this year off with a positive mindset and lots of love while talking about a few Florida man or Florida man - like stories. 

To those of you who have been with us since the beginning, to those just getting into our stories and to those who have mentored us along the way, we love and appreciate you so much. Thank you for sticking with us, and we are so pleased to spend 2023 with you! Cheers to a better year ahead.

On Tuesday, April 21st, 2020, 39-year-old John Palmer and his wife, 38-year-old Katie Palmer set out for a morning walk in their rural neighborhood in Denison, Texas. It was a sunny morning with temperatures in the mid-60s. The road they were walking is residential- with homes and a country club- not a road with significant traffic early in the morning. There are no sidewalks and the couple was walking facing the direction of oncoming traffic.
At 7:45 am, as they walked alongside the asphalt road- they were hit from behind- by their neighbor Cory Foster, who was driving a 2019 Ford F250 pickup truck.
John and Katie didn’t even hear the truck coming- they were both injured, Katie, fatally.
Katie passed away from her injuries the next day, just after midnight. John has recovered and has spent every day since, not only grieving the loss of his soulmate; but also waiting for and then fighting for justice.
The man that killed his wife had alcohol in his system, was driving with a fogged-up windshield, on the wrong side of the road, and still walks free.

We also will briefly remind you about narcissism because we firmly believe that the offender in this case was a complete narcissist. In fact, when you hear all of these statistics and the key traits of narcissism, and then listen to Eric tell what happened to his brother, Jacob Landin, you will be able to pinpoint WHY we believe this to be the case. We want to amplify Jacob's voice as much as possible and we want to do so with pure integrity and compassion. Content/Trigger warning - potential for hate crime, mention of animal cruelty

Violence against those who are in the lgbtq+ community or those who identify as such still occurs to this day. We feel that this community is especially vulnerable because once again, here it is late 2022, and we still see hatred and violence against this community. Today we will be discussing two cases that are similar in setting and need a ton of awareness. Very little is out there on both victims so, let’s change that! It’s important to remember that they both happened in Philadelphia, and the victims just so happen to be gay. These crimes were not deemed as hate crimes, but we will leave that up to you all to decide.
