28. Child Loss through the Eyes of the Sibling Michele Benyo
In this episode, Cara and Rashida have a genuinely amazing chat with Michele Benyo of Good Grief Parenting.
Michele Benyo is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®, early childhood educator and parent coach, and the founder of Good Grief Parenting. After her 6-year-old son died of cancer, her 3-year-old daughter said, “Mommy, half of me is gone.” This heartbreaking statement defined Michele’s life purpose. Her mission is twofold: to help parents through the unimaginable challenges of parenting while grieving the death of a child, and to equip parents to meet the unique needs of a child who has lost a sibling in the early childhood years. The desire of Michele’s heart is to see families live forward after loss toward a future bright with possibilities and even joy.

26. Everyday Grief: Rashida's Griefy Week
In true Cara and Rashida form, this episode has tangents. So many in fact that we had pivot and rename the episode. In this episode, Rashida discusses a visit to the ER that left her feeling extremely griefy and full of deja vu from losing her mom to a heart attack 16 years ago.

Grateful for this podcast
I’ve been listening to this podcast for awhile and love it. Cara and Rashida are so relatable and hilarious. Having recently lost my dad, I plan to go back and listen to older episodes again. Grieving while parenting is rough and these women make me feel less alone in that journey.
Found this at the perfect time
