21. Embracing the Seasons of Life with Nikki Callison
Nikki Callison grew up on 2000 acre cattle ranch with her parents and 4 brothers in Southern Oklahoma. She is a fourth generation Oklahoma rancher. She taught school in Plano Tx for 10 years before returning to Oklahoma where she met her husband Roger. They adopted 3 children all at one time and knew they wanted to raise their family on a ranch. They have a cow-calf and stocker operation. Nikki raised her family, helped on the ranch and worked as a professional photographer.
When Nikki's youngest daughter graduated high school, she decided to see the family's beef direct to consumers just as her grandparents had done in the early 1970's. Nikki is the owner and operator of Callison Ranch Beef, shipping ranch-raised beef to 48 states. Last year, Nikki expanded the business by adding Callison Ranch Market, a retail location on the ranch. Nikki is a lifetime member of the Oklahoma Cattlewomen's Association and is on the Oklahoma Beef Council.
Nikki loves combining her experiences as a rancher, horsewoman, photographer and teacher to share ranch life on social media outlets and at public speaking engagements. She gives agri-tourism tours of the ranch and shares rides on the prairie checking cattle with her horse Beau.

16. Setting Yourself Up For Success & Self Mastery
Being a wife, mother, vet tech and entrepreneur requires a ton of ball juggling. Lately, I have been feeling overwhelmed and not centered. It is a feeling I know most of us experience in our own ways. However, it is about how you handle these situations to push forward and improve upon your foundation and continue to pursue your dreams.
I read two books recently that have really helped me come back and be more present and aligned with my intentions for more family and business. I have been really enjoying my early morning getting myself geared for success by tuning into the right mind set. Part of my routine is getting up at 5am to start my "victory hour." The 5AM Club is a fictional book about an entrepreneur, an artist and a billionaire that take a risk and go on a wild adventure to find self mastery and success.
I also found a lot of great methods on developing new routines to set myself up for greatness in the book, Atomic Habits by James Clear. I had a wonderful conversation with Kiah Twisselman-Burchett about this book and the value it also has brought her in her own life journey.
