    Episode 6 - Getting Un-Stuck

    Episode 6 - Getting Un-Stuck

Our next podcast episode is live, and this week I am talking about “Getting Unstuck”.
As a continuation to the discussion I had with Nivi in our last episode, this week I dive deeper into tools I have used in life and work when I have felt ‘stuck’.  As I have in all episodes, I share real-life examples that I hope will help ‘at least one person’ to navigate that uncomfortable (often frustrating) situation, and come out stronger and more fulfilled on the other side.
Thanks as always to those of you who listen and reach out, sharing how the podcast has helped and inspired you.

Episode 5 - Interview with Nivi!

Episode 5 - Interview with Nivi!

We are back with Episode 5 of Real Life with the Tina Twist. This time with a special guest, Nivi Thyagarajan, an inspiring leader who I am thrilled to welcome to the podcast.
Together, Nivi and I discuss the role of curiosity in Nivi’s journey, the 2 questions she always asks herself as she continues along her career journey, and the value of writing your ‘path in pencil’ as you navigate your North Star.
Despite taking a break from the podcast as we watched events unfold in the Ukraine, I have decided to keep the podcast going as a small way to bring inspiration and light to the world.  My thoughts are with the people of the Ukraine during this tremendously difficult time.

    Episode 4 - International Relocation

    Episode 4 - International Relocation

We are back with Episode 4 this week, and this week I am talking about International Relocation as a Family of 5.

This week we pull the curtain back on what an International Relocation looks like, and the lessons we learned moving from Canada to Belgium right before the global pandemic.

We have been asked ‘was it worth it’, and ‘would you do it again’ many times, particularly in the setting of relocating just 2 months before the pandemic, and we can confidently answer ‘absolutely yes’ to both of those questions, even though it has not always been easy.

There are topics I didn’t touch upon this time, as they are and should be very personal decisions, such as how we chose the school for our kids, and where we chose to live.  If you are interested in these topics though, and particularly if you find yourself moving to the Brussels area, I would be more than happy to answer your questions one-on-one.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to share how you are enjoying the podcast.  I continue to be touched by your messages of support, and I thoroughly enjoy what you are taking from it.

    Episode 3 - Courage

    Episode 3 - Courage

We are back with Episode 3 this week, and I am talking about Courage (and fear), and Confidence.
in episode 1, I talked about having the courage to write your own story.  It is very easy to say; just Google ‘courage and confidence’, and you will find more memes on this topic than you can count!  It is often not as easy to put into practice.
In this episode I break down how I have built my confidence in the workplace in certain circumstances through big and small acts of courage, and I share the 2 questions that I always ask myself when in a situation that requires me to act courageously.

Episode 2 - Not Doing It All

Episode 2 - Not Doing It All

We are back with Episode 2 this week.  If you listened to Episode 1, we talked a lot about having the courage to follow your own path, and write your own story.

To allow yourself the space to do this takes energy and prioritization.  So this week we are talking about “The Power of not doing it all”.  I share what this has looked like for me at work and at home, talk about burnout and my personal journey and learnings through it, and then finish by talking about the WonderWoman cape that so many of us wear as we juggle ‘it all’.
