Episode #25: My #1 Tip to Reclaim Your Life
In this episode, I begin the journey of sharing more about the 5 Practices of Freedom. Today’s episode focuses on the first practice: Playful Curiosity. I’ll discuss how this practice is often seen in an exploratory phase of one’s healing journey, as folks begin to question and notice their feelings. I’ll share some first-person narratives about my own experiences, delve into the value of play and joy in this practice, and leave listeners with a few journal prompts to spur some internal curiosity.

Episode #24: The 5 Practices Of Personal Freedom
In this episode, I explore an overview of my 5 Practices of Personal Freedom, which encourage us to question the narratives we’ve been told, re-develop our connection and believe in our selves, and establish new beliefs and narratives that support the self, others, and the planet. I also give more context as to what living your freedom looks like in a practical sense and how living in our freedom is a radical act of self love and rebellion in our “power over” systems. Lastly, I share some feedback from my clients about how these practices and my coaching have impacted them.

Episode #23: No More Playing The Hero
In this episode, I explore the Dominant Dogma that celebrates those who take on “hero” roles in family units and beyond. I dive into the impact perfectionism has on us in the long-term, including extended Fight/Flight/Freeze responses, and I even share how I’ve seen this happen in my own life. Then, I walk you through the freedom on the other side: being seen and embraced beyond your “hero” tendencies and finding power in setting meaningful boundaries.

Episode #22: Stop Fooling Yourself…
In this episode, I confront the Dominant Dogma that shares, “ you are taking up too much space.” I’ll walk you through feeling, noticing and listening to your big feelings, how those big feelings have been suppressed as not to “rock the boat,” as well as my personal experiences of fitting myself into boxes to avoid being perceived as “too much.” I’ll share how this has led to maladaptive cping strategies, as well as the freedom on the other side, where I invite you to live with congruence and work with your emotions to create harmony and integrity.

Episode 21: You Don't Have To Keep Giving
In today’s episode, I confront the Dominant Dogma that tells us: “It is better to give than receive.” I’ll touch on the nuance that acknowledges the importance of giving while also knowing that putting that “giving” instinct into overdrive is unsustainable. I’ll explore how folks (especially women) in service-based work are constantly fed this message, and how these cultural norms have impacted me in my creative and personal life. Lastly, I’ll discuss the freedom on the other side, where we can belong to ourselves, together.

Episode #20: Coming Back To Our Why
In honor of our 20th episode together, I’ll be reviewing the why that brings us here, by discussing the freedom we can find on the other side of Dominant Dogma, how Dominant Dogma has infiltrated our lives, what it looks like to truly live in our power, and how my personal story plays into all of that goodness. We’ll also explore the beauty of personal freedom as a means to fight harmful systems and find our way to collective healing. Join me!
