A weekly tech podcast covering a wide variety of topics, including personal productivity, media, and consumer technology. Hosted by Ian Schray, Rob Griffiths, and Kirk McElhearn.
Episode 292: “Three Guys Walk into a Bar”
We ruminate on the changes we’ve seen in our technology stacks in 2020, discuss 2-factor authentication with Apple IDs, and wonder aloud who Apple Fitness+ is actually for (hint: it’s not us).
As a programming note, this will be the last regular, fortnightly episode of The Committed. For the foreseeable future, The Committed will publish on a far less regular and more sporadic schedule. We’re still here, and we’ll do more episodes, just not every two weeks.
Episode 291: “On the Low of the High End”
We talk about AirPods Max, Apple Fitness+, and our impressions of Big Sur.
Episode 290: “Holiday Gift Guide”
We hold our annual, round-robin gift guide this episode, with far fewer tech items than you’d expect!
Episode 289: “Apple Event Again Again”
We talk about Apple’s new M1-based MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini. For the Rob fans out there, this show is for you!
Episode 288: “Junk Drawer”
We talk about iPhone 12, Apple Watch Series 6, then we go round robin about the good and bad of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and watchOS 7.
Episode 287: “Apple Event... Again.”
We talk about the new announcements from this week’s Apple announcement, including HomePod mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I really enjoy your Podcast, since you all are very knowledgeable. However, you criticized Apple using the term “Pro” too often. Then, you claimed that the iMac Pro could only be optioned up to 32 GB of RAM! You aren’t doing your homework, as a Panel of Pros, as it’s widely known that the iMac Pro can take up to 128GB of ECC RAM! C’mon, Guys! If you are going to Dog Apple for misusing their marketing, at least do your research, and don’t mislead us! Many Pros, and Researchers use iMac Pro’s, and most aren’t fully optioned!
I have been listening to these guys for quite a while now. I never miss a podcast. The subjecst covered are almost always interesting to me (Even if the main topic is of minor interest to me somewhere in the show i will be entertained by their banter.). The 3 hosts have great chemistry.I appreciate the time they give to this show - i have learned a great deal by listening.
Smart, Funny, and Helpful
My only complaint: these guys are so witty that when I'm listening to them, the idiotic grin on my face makes people move away from on the subway. Come to think of it ... that's another reason to like it!
