Delightful

I've genuinely enjoyed this podcast for a while now. I've read X-books sporadically since the 90s and this show does a fantastic job of filling in the gaps in my own reading and reminding me of the wonderful and ridiculous stories that populate one crowded continuity.

I particularly enjoy their critical commentary on the comics. Their look at how writers, artists, industry changes, and cultural context informs X-men's long narrative is a gift to the community.

I've almost finished the 500+ pages of inferno and look forward to listening to those episodes again!

Time to move on...

I’m really glad that I’m at a point in the show where I stopped following the comics, this show has gotten progressively worse over time. The inability for Miles to have an opinion different from Jay’s without Jay brow-beating him into submission and the heavy handed “woke” comments get tiresome and tedious the longer this podcast goes on.
The in-depth look at the comics and storylines is enjoyable, and it kept my interest up to this point, but it can’t overcome the downward slide this podcast has been on.

Just finished the first 50 episodes!!!

The first 50 episodes were amazing!!! The hosts go into extreme detail to discuss intricate plot lines, themes, and character development of various characters in the X-Men comic books. They are hilarious and what makes the podcast so appealing is that they are not afraid to poke fun of and point out mistakes that the writers or illustrators have made. The hosts are extreme fanatics of X-Men and their love for X-Men is evident in the passionate depth of each episode!!!
