Sticky or Slump for Trevor Bauer, Dodgers Injuries and More!

Sticky or Slump for Trevor Bauer, Dodgers Injuries and More!

The wins keep coming in at a steady pace for the Los Angeles Dodgers as they find themselves a game behind the Giants for best record in the National League. And the wins keep coming despite another wave of injuries to key players.
We talk the latest on Dodger injuries and Clint doubles down on his prediction on when Corey Seager will return to the lineup. Plus we introduce a new segment where we highlight one player that may be struggling or perhaps the weakest link on the team at the moment and decide whether we’re going to let him play or send him packing in "let him play or DFA."
One of the bigger storylines in LA and around baseball right now is the sticky stuff. Since the rumors broke on new rules coming, Trevor Bauer's performance has markedly slipped. The question here is whether the two are related or if the 2020 Cy Young award winner is just in a slump.

The Dodgers Mop the Pirates, Kirkland PTI & More

The Dodgers Mop the Pirates, Kirkland PTI & More

The Dodgers pull off a sweep of the Pirates in rainy Pittsburgh -- a mop, if you will -- and move closer to first place in the NL West. We talk about Justin Turner's good series and mini hot streak, angry Kenley's All-Star chances and more. Plus, with a 4-2 record on the road trip, we wonder if the boys in blue are reversing their early-season woes on the road.
Next, we bring back a favorite segment of ours, our poor man's knockoff of Pardon the Interruption where each topic gets 1 minute of argument. Today's topics:

Are we worried about Clayton Kershaw?

Is Phil Bickford earning our trust yet?

Will Mookie Betts figure it out?

Is the sticky stuff as big of an issue as it’s being made out to be?

Should MLB stop with these YouTube broadcasts?

Finally, the Dodgers head home to LA for a 6 game homestand starting with the lowly Texas Rangers.

Streaky Boys in Blue, Rob Manfred and the Sticky Icky, and More

Streaky Boys in Blue, Rob Manfred and the Sticky Icky, and More

The Dodgers struggle on the road again. This time the bats were mostly quiet and the pitching pitched the worst it's pitched in a while. We dive in to what's going wrong with the boys, exploring Clayton Kershaw's rough stretch and considering Mookie Betts moving out of the leadoff spot. Plus, should the team look at adding an arm or two at the deadline?
Next, the biggest topic dominating baseball headlines, foreign substances. The Dodgers have become a focal point in MLB's crackdown on sticky stuff and pitcher Trevor Bauer the main guy talking. We hear from Bauer as he talks foreign substances and slams MLB commissioner Rob Manfred for messing up another scandal.
Finally, the Dodgers are super streaky so far this season. What's up with that?

Two Month Report Cards, Getting Healthy & Heating Up

As we pass the two month mark into the 2021 season, things are trending well for the Dodgers after a rocky stretch. Bodies are getting healthy and returning to the lineup, most important of which is 2019 MVP Cody Bellinger who is already proving to be a difference maker.
With the Dodgers getting healthy, does this team still have a chance to be the best in baseball? SportsNet LA Analyst Jerry Hairston thinks so. The boys dive in to that narrative and issue grades for the first third-ish of the season. Plus, some unexpected Albert Pujols love and how he fills a role it turns out the Dodgers really may have needed.

Finally, we preview the NLCS rematch with the Atlanta Braves, a team that looks a whole lot different from the last time these two met in October.

Trash Takes, Trashtros, and More Giants

Trash Takes, Trashtros, and More Giants

The Dodgers and their fan base stormed Houston and the Polly Pocket field known as Minute Maid Park and exercised some demons from the 2017 World Series. And, most importantly, Clayton Kershaw exercised some MMP demons of his own against the cheaters in Houston.
We discuss the series split and the letdown game 2 loss from Trevor Bauer.
Next, we look ahead to the series against the Giants -- the second series in as many weeks -- and make our predictions for the NL West showdown at Dodger Stadium.

Celebrating a Dodgers Sweep and 200 Episodes of Blue Heaven!

The Dodgers swept the hated Giants and made it look pretty convincing along the way. We dive into some takeaways from the series including Max Muncy's love for Oracle Park and Gavin Lux's big come-up. Plus, Trevor Bauer introduced himself to the rivalry and set the stage for a weekend that proved the Dodgers have the best rotation in baseball -- even down one starter.
Next, the team is striding and is getting healthy at the same time. We catch up on where Cody Bellinger and Zach McKinstry are in their recovery and how they could rejoin the Dodgers in LA this weekend. And how far out is Tony Gonsolin in his return?
The Dodgers head to Houston to face the cheating Astros for two games at Minute Maid Park... with full capacity seating. With Clayton Kershaw facing Zach Greinke in game one, it should be a good time.
Finally, we look back at the first 199 episodes of the podcast and reminisce about some of our favorite moments.

Best dodger podcast

I love listening to these guys.
Not only are they informative , but their show is super entertaining.

Why?

Not funny. Not informative. It’s basically just fart jokes. Untalented people. Social media team is trash. There’s no way anyone takes this seriously. Dodgers fans need a good podcast. This is Pantone 294 but for dumber people. 0/10.
