    Episode 7: Scorched Earth

    Episode 7: Scorched Earth

    Episode 7 Scorched Earth
West Virginia suffered the environmental impact of war long before the Great War. All in the name of feeding the war machine with demands of steel, minerals nuclear material and a place to store the resulting waste. The fallout from nuclear detonations was the cherry on top of it all.
We join Gilda Sullivan as she’s arrived in the Toxic Valley, as if the name doesn’t tell you enough, it’s a wasteland within a wasteland. In the meantime, the Iron Savages are making a fast march south to Charleston with Joel still as their useful captive.

    Episode 6: Old Warriors Blood

    Episode 6: Old Warriors Blood

Raiders were once the scourge of West Virginia after the Great War until the Scorched plague was unleashed.
The Iron Savages aren’t so different except that by Dirk Embry’s leadership they’ve survived much that saw many formative gangs fall by the wayside in Pennsylvania.
Opportunities are everywhere if you look and Dirk saw a chance in the empty West Virginia. An entire state, ripe for the taking now that the Scorched were diminished. It was perfect.
They aren’t usually dealers in human lives, not like some of the slave traders back where they came from. But the last raid brought them Responder Joel MacKenzie. If it’s not human trafficking, or cruel Raider fun, what else do you do with one of the last Responders?

Episode 5: Far From Heaven, West Virginia

Episode 5 Far From Heaven, West Virginia
Almost heaven, West Virginia sang John Denver. Country Roads is full of fond memories, a longing for home and the anticipation of finding it at the end of a long journey. And of course, a swig of moonshine to take the road weary edge off.
These days, West Virginia is anything but almost heaven.
You could say it is far from heaven.

Episode 4: All Up In Smoke

Episode 4: All Up In Smoke

Episode 4 All Up In Smoke
It’s pretty common when you travel the wasteland that you find yourself taking a very different route from what you had planned. It could be a chance encounter with a stranger in need, a bridge that was once in good repair has now collapsed. A Raider roadblock demanding goods and caps or if not, then your life will do instead.
Remember where we left the settlers from Pennsylvania? It’s night in the Toxic Valley. All's quiet but for a couple of guards on watch. Plenty of things in the wasteland use the cover of darkness to their advantage…

Episode 3: The Mountains Sleep No More

Far From Heaven: A Fallout 76 Story
Episode 3 The Mountains Sleep No More
Many perished due to the Scorched plague, that we know all too well, and few fled from it. But even fewer stuck it out in West Virginia and made it through, not counting the Seventy-Sixers safe in the comfort of their vault.
Would it surprise you to learn that one was Free States? Probably not.
Gilda Sullivan, an accomplished hunter, steadfast friend to the Responders, survived in West Virginia when the Scorched wiped it clean thanks to the Sullivan family bunker and the survival skills she’d honed over the years. She’s out hunting in the mountains now. Let’s join her and hear her story.

Jonello Flint ,

Amazing storytelling!

Love the story, but the real gem here is the character development. Of all the Fallout podcast this one hits the nail on the head of what it would be like to live in the realistic world of Fallout. Everyday is a struggle and you can tell that in the story. Keep up the great work!

Dragonreborn853 ,

An inspiring story.

I love the way the writers tells the story. The characters are very in-depth and really pull you into the world. It’s a story I definitely recommend and look forward to hearing more as it continues to unfold.

Daniel.2111 ,

Another Great Episode

Another great episode can’t wait to see where it goes!
