Not Very Insightful

Honestly, for how sporadic the podcasts are you would expect a little more preparation and interesting discussion. Not to mention an interview lasting longer than 15 minutes would be nice. Each interview seems to have the same exact questions that really don't provide any intrigue or insight into the civil engineering community. For example, the one question I just can't stand and always seem to hear is "So, what keeps you up at night?" What kind of question is that for someone who is supposed to be a leader in the engineering community. It comes off as degrading and insincere. There doesn't seem to be any research backing up the people that are being interviewed. I would love to see some actual effort put into this someday where the topics discussed are more worthwhile and that interviews are much more interesting and engaging and provide much more depth about our field and our interaction with our own country and world community.
