Henri Knows His Stuff
Not only does Henri have a fantastic and musical voice that makes his podcast easy on the ears, he really knows his stuff and can convey information clearly. If you need help, this is the place to come.
Great Inspiration from the ground up!
Let me start off by saing that Henri's podcasts really connect with me. I personally started blogging with no idea what to do (had lots of fun though!) back in 09' around the exact same time he started his blog.
I watched him grow it to the level of success it is today and I can truly connect in many ways with his background story and how he discovered his passion, what he does and why he does it.
I get a lot out of his work and his podcasts are no different. He's down to earth, simplifies everything he does and talks from a friend's point of view, not as if he's someone way up in the sky who is talking down to an audience.
It's like listening to a good friend sharing his experiences of trial and erros and helping you by giving you his best advice about what to do based on what he has done and found success with.
One thing I find interesting in his first episode especially, is that he started doing something for the money - poker. I've never played but he got good enough to make great money at it and realized something was missing. I've felt this way with every job I've ever had.
He soon discovered how money just doesn't bring happiness no matter how much you earn. Sure, you need so much to live but truly living comes from money which is earned from doing something you truly love to do and helping people reach their dreams.
He talks a lot about this and I find it very inspiring because I've been in the blogging niche for a few years, I built up a blog that was doing okay but no where near where he is because of my situation changing and chasing the money myself. That just didn't work for me.
It didn't work for him either. He kept going and talks about how that's what it takes in order to be successful.
I admire that because, like myself, I gave up for a while and am still confused about things and unsure a lot of the time but I know I want to do something different than what society has created as the norm.
He puts that into perspective completely.
I love his work and have bought all of his products and they've contained extremely high quality nuggest of information that I find are more than worth the price. In fact, to me, because I often refer back to those products quite often, they are an investment in my road to success.
If you want to keep up to date from someone who has been there and done that and who honestly knows his stuff (yes, I know it may be hard if you just found out who he is and haven't followed him from the beginning. That makes sense...) then I highly recommend keeping his podcasts around.
If I had to sum up all of this (and believe me, could I go on, just sayin') I would say that he has a way with putting things into perspective which makes you really look at the reality of building a lifestyle business around your passion as something doable and simple.
Not easy. But, as he says, which I think he quotes from somewhere, nothing worthwhile is ever easy.
Listen to what he has to say. He knows what he's talking about. It's priceless information you're likely not to easily find elsewhere.
I hope to learn so much more from him and his experiences and I only hope I can share through my own work all he has done.
Keep up the great work, Henri.
And no, that is NO idle statement.
