690: Jen Kramer - The Royal Road to Las Vegas
Jen Kramer is currently the only one-woman magic show on the Strip in Las Vegas. But not only that, she just celebrated her 500th performance and nearly concurrently, her 30th birthday! What an accomplishment for any young person…or older person for that matter! Jen started with the Society of Young Magicians (a group within the S.A.M.) in New York, later attended Tannen’s Magic Camp, went to Yale, then moved to Las Vegas and soon had her own show at the Westgate Hotel.

689: Jeff Scanlan - Thinking Inside the Bottle
While at MAGIC Live! this year, one of the dealers was Jeff Scanlan who puts things in bottles. How he does it is a trade secret, but the results are pure art that many people have put on their shelves as oddities and conversation starters. Jeff is a full time professional magician who was a student and friend of the late Eugene Burger. So although this episode is shorter than most, it contains two different themes: impossible bottles and Eugene Burger.

You get free information passed down from the “master” at no cost to you, but I’m certain that it will be knowledge that you will think about, enjoy, and help make your magic stronger, too.

I rarely get free time to listen undisturbed to The Magic Word Podcast but today, I did and... WOW! The interview with John Pullum was full of interesting stories, helpful knowledge and advice and kept my attention during the entire 70 minutes. I plan on listening on my drive back home tomorrow to more. Thank you Scott for making this available to us! Doug Anderson ~ Oklahoma
