1525: Your Retirement Planning Doesn't Have to Be a Gamble by Erik Carter with Financial Finesse

Erik Carter with Financial Finesse insists that your retirement planning does not have to be a gamble.

Episode 1525: Your Retirement Planning Doesn't Have to Be a Gamble by Erik Carter with Financial Finesse

After years in the financial services industry, Liz Davidson became disgusted with how many people were being sold financial products and services that were not in their best interest. She decided there had to be a better way to provide people from all walks of life with truly unbiased financial guidance--designed to line their pockets, not their financial advisor’s.
This is the story of Financial Finesse and how they give employees and employers unbiased financial wellness as an employee benefit. They help your employees maximize their compensation and benefits by making better financial decisions. You become a partner in their financial security and reap the benefits of a financially healthy workforce.
They’ve helped hundreds of thousands of employees change their lives.

Needs Previous Host back

This podcast was great back when Dan Weinberg was hosting. I’ve put up with the new host because of my respect for the Optimal Podcast series, but I’m out on OFD now. Diana has a horrible radio voice that is hard on the ears and she has no real finance experience except getting into debt. I don’t know who is picking the articles but it seems as though they have missed the whole point of OFD.

Bloated

Much preferred the show with the prior host. Miriam labels herself as an enthusiast, but gives an analysis for 2-3 minutes every show based on her own life, assuming the advice role of an expert. Sounds like beating debt is her only real experience. Using the show to advertise her personal financial conference seems like the major goal. All this adds 2-3minutes of fluff to what used to be a short and sweet reading of expert blogs.
