The Only Music Podcast is hosted by music producer Staffan Ulmert and label manager Louise Hammar.
Episodes include music news, reviews, recommendations, industry talk, anecdotes and are released once every second week. This is a music podcast which isn’t necessarily tied to a specific set of genres, soul, indie, rock, hiphop, metal, electronic - both vintage and new . The goal is to avoid being too nerdy and restrict our listeners to the one’s who consume music and the music news 24/7. However, by using their experience, having been in the music industry and worked with interesting and creative people, they aim to bring insight and context to today’s fragmented industry.
Broadcasting and hailing from Sweden, they might butcher the english language, but having a unique perspective of not being tied to European, American or English acts or scenes.
Staffan Ulmert is a music producer who’s released his own, sample-based music under his moniker Mojib, as well as remixing high profile acts such as Radiohead, Muse, The Go! Team, UNKLE, Ian Brown, among others. He’s also the founder of Has it Leaked, a controversial and popular music community featured in The New York Times, BBC World and Wired, among others.
Lousie Hammar currently co-runs Telegram Studios, one of Sweden’s biggest indie labels. She’s also managed several international artists and is working with both indie and major record labels. As a publicist and A&R in Sweden, France and the UK she has a vast experience of the music industry.
Music featured so far has included Kendrick Lamar, The Go! Team, Chilly Gonzales, Wolf Alice, Faith No More, The Avalanches, Nils Frahm, Tame Impala and more.

Great show, excellent editing, and the hosts know what they're talking about.
First time I've ever felt compelled to leave a review.
Great to hear from the Industry and fan side of music. Not a lot of Podcasts that keep my interest in regards to music but this one pulled me right in. Some initial kinks but that's to be expected, to be honest I think it adds to the episodes more than detracts. Ton of new artists I would have missed otherwise, new album news, and best of all REAL album opinions. Subscriber for life.
The audio sounds off
The audio sounds off but besides technical hiccups I love the show. Always knew that Sweden had a lot of talented artists so I'm glad that we get some insights from your guys perspective. Looking forward to more from both of you . And if you ever need that third member HOLLA :D
