I had the pleasure of chatting with Rui, Carolina, Luis, João and Bruno who together make up Rope Walkers. They spent last year playing many live shows and are gearing up to release their debut album in the second half of this year. This five piece were finalists in the nationwide competition Festival Termómetro, looking for the best new musical talent in Portugal.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Blanca, a.k.a Rumia, at the end of 2019. She is a talented singer-writer from Portugal/Spain who is now based in Berlin. Rumia has been singing and playing music for a long time, and since last year has dedicated herself full-time to honing her craft as a music artist. She has just released her debut EP at the start of the year!

I had the pleasure of chatting with Miroca Paris, currently performing with Madonna on her Madame X tour, ahead of his biggest headline show yet in Lisbon at Capitólio happening on January 17th.

This Island Rhythm innovator from Cabo Verde toured for many years with the great Cesária Évora, and his debut album called "D'Alma" was classed as one of the best album of 2018 by World Music Charts Europe.

Christmas Special: Double episode from Super Bock Em Stock Festival featuring Jack Savidge from Friendly Fires and LOYAL.

I had the privilege of catching up with two of the hottest acts from this year's Super Bock Em Stock Festival in Lisbon!

Listen in as I speak to Jack Savidge from Friendly Fires about his headline DJ set at the festival, his role in the band, their latest tracks and their plans for the future.

I also spoke to Lawrence and Alex from up and coming Brighton-based collective LOYAL about their catchy brand of dance music, what brought them to the festival, their endorsement by dance legend Pete Tong who said their music "gives me goose bumps", and they unpack two of their tracks.
