[AMSA-UNHAS POD.19] An Outbreak of Acute Hepatitis in Children Happen in Mysterious Way AMSA-Unhas PODCAST

Since the WHO Disease Outbreak News on Acute hepatitis of unknown aetiology on April 2022, there have been reported cases of acute hepatitis infection of unknown origin among children in countries in Europe, North America and Asia, including Indonesia. Indonesia reported that it had identified 18 suspected cases of acute hepatitis of unknown origin, sixteen of which were children.



There have been continuing further reports of cases of acute hepatitis of unknown origin among young children. It is not yet clear if there has been an increase in hepatitis cases, or an increase in awareness of hepatitis cases that occur at the expected rate but go undetected.



Due to continuities of research and further studies , let’s we hear the recent disease  on this podcast!
