As many of you may know, the U.S. and other parts of the world are seeing countless Black Lives Matter protests against police brutality and social injustice. As photographers, one of the biggest issues in covering these protests is maintaining the anonymity of the protesters, to protect them against doxxing and police arrests. Yet, some photojournalists are still debating whether censoring faces is ethical in reportage and photojournalism, and is censoring taking away the humanistic factor of a protest?
