The bottom of the order has been producing well as of late and continued to do so today with Brett Wisely, Heliot Ramos, and Mike Yastrzemski accounting for six of the San Francisco Giants eight RBI. Blake Snell got the start for the San Francisco Giants on this beautiful Memorial Day at 3rd & King, and failed to pitch more than four innings again. The offense bailed him out today, but the Snell experience is getting old.

The San Francisco Giants got a taste of their own medicine today, falling to the New York Mets, 4-3, after a three-run ninth inning propelled the New York Mets to a walk-off win at Citi Field. Logan Webb tossed seven strong innings of one-run ball, and recorded eight strikeouts, but the bullpen couldn't hold the lead. With Camilo Doval unavailable to pitch today, Tyler Rogers was called upon to seal the win and couldn't get the job done. Still, a 4-2 road trip is nothing for the San Francisco Giants to hang their heads about.

The San Francisco Giants overcame yet another late-game deficit as they beat the New York Mets 7-2 in extra innings. Trailing 2-1 going into the 9th inning, Lamonte Wade Jr drove in the tying run with a pinch hit single. Then in extra innings, the San Francisco Giants plated five runs with Mike Yastrzemski swatting a three-run triple in the rally. Jordan Hicks struck out eight in his five innings of one-run ball. This team is full of late-inning magic lately and is rolling right now.

The San Francisco Giants pulled out yet another comeback win on this road trip, this time taking down the New York Mets 8-7 at Citi Field. Patrick Bailey smashed an 8th inning grand slam to give the San Francisco Giants a one-run lead. Things got dicey for Camilo Doval in the ninth inning, but Matt Chapman made the defensive play of the season to secure the final out of the game, and a big Giants win.
