Monday night in Toronto, the Red Sox opened up their 6-game road trip with a 7-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Sox hit 4 home runs in winning their third straight game and their sixth in their last eight games.

The Red Sox took the series finale over the Yankees with a 9-3 win at Fenway Sunday night. The Red Sox stole nine bases in the finale, won 2 of 3 from the Yankees and went 4-2 on the homestand against the top two teams in baseball. Ceddanne Rafaela collected 3 hits and had 2 RBIs. David Hamilton had 2 hits (a walk), 4 stolen bases and three runs scored. Kutter Crawford allowed three earned runs over 6 innings and notched his first win since early May. Zack Kelly entered with the bases loaded and nobody out in the 7th inning and retired all 3 hitters he faced. Sox scored 3 in the bottom of the 7th and added 2 more in the 8th. Connor Wong had 2 hits, including a 2-run triple and an RBI single in the 8th.

The Red Sox clipped the Yankees, 8-4, at Fenway on Saturday night. Series is even at 1-1 with the finale on Sunday and with a win on Sunday, the Sox will clinch the series against New York and go 4-2 on their homestand. Justin Slaten picked up the win Saturday night for the Red Sox. Kenley Jansen got the final four outs and recorded his 11th save on the year. Jarren Duran had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI. Ceddanne Rafaela had 3 hits, including a double. Sox scored 3 in the first and 2 more in the second against losing pitcher Carlos Rodon. Sox are back to a game above .500 with Saturday's win.

The Red Sox dropped their series opener at Fenway Park Friday night with an 8-1 setback to the Yankees. Alex Verdugo's return to Fenway was a successful one. Verdugo hit a 2-R Home Run off losing pitcher Brayan Bello and he also had an RBI Double and RBI Single in the win. Bello did not get passed the 5th inning for the second straight outing and he took the loss. Red Sox struck out 14 times in falling back to .500. Tyler O'Neil went 0-for-5 with 4 strikeouts. Red Sox left 11 runners on base and went 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position. Jarren Duran was on base three times with a single and a pair of walks. Red Sox managed only 5 hits
