The Red Sox stole nine bases in the finale, won 2 of 3 from the Yankees and went 4-2 on the homestand against the top two teams in baseball. Ceddanne Rafaela collected 3 hits and had 2 RBIs. David Hamilton had 2 hits (a walk), 4 stolen bases and three runs scored. Kutter Crawford allowed three earned runs over 6 innings and notched his first win since early May. Zack Kelly entered with the bases loaded and nobody out in the 7th inning and retired all 3 hitters he faced. Sox scored 3 in the bottom of the 7th and added 2 more in the 8th. Connor Wong had 2 hits, including a 2-run triple and an RBI single in the 8th.

Red Sox left 11 runners on base and went 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position. Jarren Duran was on base three times with a single and a pair of walks. Red Sox managed only 5 hits
