A popular Youtube Content Creator Tayo Aina was recently criticized by another creator over having a 'wack accent' on one of his Youtube videos. In other words, he spoke like a Nigerian, living in Nigeria.

This got us thinking. Why do Nigerians place so much emphasis on having a foreign accent? Is it a result of low self-esteem? We share our thoughts on this episode.
