Program #173: 5/3/89 and 5/10/89 Jimmy Mazzy & Friends

    • Música

The last tune from May 3rd, 1989, followed by the first two selections from the following week, at Ephraim’s in Sudbury, Massachusetts. The musicians are Jimmy Mazzy (banjo/vocals), Fred Lind (cornet), Paul Meymaris (clarinet), John Kafalas (tuba), Milt Steinmetz and Don Frothingham (piano), and Stu Grover (drums). The selections are “Who’s Sorry Now,” “Breezin’ Along With the Breeze,” and “If I Had My Way.” These last two tunes appeared in program #15, back in 2008 — however, they should sound better in this program, because I have a better digital audio converter than the one I used to use when I originally started the Jimmy Mazzy & Friends podcast.
